RESERVE — River Parish Community Theatre has cancelled its plans to produce “Matilda” for this summer amid the lingering restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, the community theater has turned its attention to their second rendition of “A Taste of Broadway” and their annual holiday show, “Christmas On The River”. The theatre plans to return in 2021 to its normal production slot. An announcement to unveil the 2021 show selection will be made later.

Taste of Broadway is a dinner and entertainment show unveiled last year to high praise. Plans for this year are to expand the offering and make it an even more special event considering the summer cancellation. Information about tickets to “A Taste of Broadway” will be available soon.
