Grab N’ Go meals offered to children

LAPLACE— St. Joan of Arc and St. Peter School is now serving Grab N’ Go meals for children 18 and under from 10 a.m. until noon, Monday through Friday. Meals include lunch with a breakfast bag with dry cereal, fresh fruit and a milk. It is requested that the public stay in their car to be served curbside outside of the school.
No ID is needed, and children are not required to be to students of the school, but the child must be present for pickup. Quantities per day are limited.
St. Joan of Arc is located at 412 State Rte 636-2 in LaPlace. Meals will be served at the Fir Street carpool line. St. Peter is located at 188 W Seventh St. in Reserve.
The St. John the Baptist Parish School District is also feeding schoolchildren ages 18 and under. Eligible children will be able to get breakfast and/or lunch from 7 a.m. to noon, Mondays through Fridays. Serving locations will be East St. John Preparatory Academy in LaPlace and West St. John Elementary School in Edgard.
