LUTCHER — St. James Urgent Care, located next to the hospital, is expanding days and hours. Effective Nov. 1, St. James Urgent Care will be open seven days a week. New hours will be 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday.

Urgent Care patients can conveniently walk-in, see a licensed practitioner—overseen by Board-Certified Emergency Room Physicians—and have access to on-the-spot testing and treatment for medical needs such as flu, strep, sinusitis, upper-respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, sports-related injuries, dehydration, abscesses and more.

St. James Urgent Care’s close proximity to the hospital affords patients direct access to higher level services as needed. St. James Urgent Care is located at 1731 Lutcher Avenue in the medical plaza next to St. James Parish Hospital.
