Living Way celebrates patriots

LAPLACE — Living Way Church, located at 810 Walnut St. in LaPlace, recently held its Freedom Sunday to celebrate the Fourth of July with cotton candy, hot dogs and apple pie.
American Legion Post 383 Commander Allen Reynaud spoke about the holiday and what it means to Veterans.

The event also included games for the children and a spectacular fireworks show. The Rev. Michel Day and his wife Nora are the spiritual leaders at the Living Way Church.
