LAPLACE — The St. John Sheriff’s Office is requesting that residents with security or door bell cameras at their home and/or business to register them.  Many cases have been solved when the crimes were captured by the cameras as they were being committed. By registering the cameras the Sheriff’s Office is able to contact residents in the event of a crime being committed in their area.
