Runners take off during one of the 2017 races at West Bank Bridge Park.

Registration is open for The Healthy Kids Running Series that is set to begin on April 8 at the West Bank Bridge Park.

The race dates are as follows: April 8, 15, 22, 29 and May 6, and races begin at 4:30 p.m.

The Series is a partner of St. Charles Parish Parks and Recreation.

The series registration of $35 includes all five races (one race each week), a T-shirt and a finishing medal.

Participants can also register for individual races for $10.
