VACHERIE — Greater Grace Charter Academy students were ecstatic recently to participate in a schoolwide Dress-Down Day, where they donated money to assist with the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts.
Several students were asked about their feelings toward this effort and responded as such:
Ramiya S. stated, “It feels good to donate money because I get to dress down and help other people at the same time.”
Peyton A. commented “I wanted to help because I would want someone to help me and my family.”
Raimon C. told other students “I donated my money because some people lost their homes and they need lots of help.”
