Those looking for a job in a broad range of local public education positions are asked to attend the St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District job fair May 6.

Certified educators, those eligible to earn a teaching certification for the 2017-18 school year, those holding a bachelor’s degree and others interested in becoming a teacher, paraprofessional, custodian, food service worker or bus driver are encouraged to attend.

The job fair takes place from 9 a.m. to noon May 6 in the East St. John High School Media Center, 1 Giorlando Drive in Reserve.

Staff and representatives from eight elementary schools, two high schools and one alternative school will share information.

Prospective employees should bring at least five copies of a one-page resume and a completed application that can be found at stjohn.tedk12.com/hire.
