Charles E. Bardwell passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at the age of 83.

He was born in McComb, Miss., and resided in Reserve.

He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, later retired from Ebasco Construction Company as a Civil Engineer and built and owned Bardwell’s RV Park.
He was the beloved husband of 61 years to Celine Vicknair Bardwell; loving father of Roddie Paul Bardwell (Dawn) and Zena Bardwell Munster; grandfather of Austin Charles Munster and Ryan John Munster; son of the late Roddie Paul Bardwell and Vera Sherrell Bardwell; and brother of Phyllis Bardwell Necaise (Louis).

He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace on Thursday, April 20 at 11 a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m.

Interment is in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
