J.B. students take on honor band, choir roles

Sixteen J.B. Martin Middle School students were selected to be a part of the 2017 District VII Honor Choir and Bands.
The students will get to work and perform with other students and a guest clinician from around district seven, which includes the parishes of St. Charles, Lafouche, Terrebonne, St. James, St. John and St. Mary.
Gracie Crochet, Connor Cunningham, Anna Fuselier, Sarah Gassen and Maria Jones were selected as part of the All Youth Honor Band, while Amanda Selman was selected to participate with the Jr. High Ensemble.
Students Abby Matherne, Marley Cortez, Mandy Mire, Ellie Hymel, Olivia Tuck, Sofia Alvarenga, Kaitlyn Baudry, Lyrrice Mwaghore, Makei Salmon, Lily Schmitt, Samantha Todaro and Martalisa Fischer were selected to participate in the Jr. High Honor Choir Ensemble.
