- Members of the LaPlace Rotary Club visit St. Joan of Arc Catholic School to present a lesson on our American flag. As each fold was made by Cheryl Millet, far left, and Eliana DeFrancesch, far right, the meaning was described. Betty Martin, back, held the folded flag above the heads of fourth grade students Nathaniel Jilles, from left, Trip Klibert and Matthew Lang illustrated how it resembles the cocked hats worn by soldiers in the Revolutionary War.
