Annual Easter Egg Hunt delivers in Garyville

GARYVILLE — Albert “Ali” Burl III hosted his annual Easter Egg Hunt March 26 at the Ezekiel Jackson/Victor Sanders Memorial Park in Garyville.

This marks the eighth year Burl has sponsored the event that caters to approximately 200 children in St. John the Baptist Parish.
Children participated in an Easter Egg Hunt and had a chance to win gift cards, Easter baskets, a bicycle, Easter-themed cakes and cash prizes.
Burl said the children have enjoyed the event each year, adding it has grown bigger and better each year. The fun also included free music, face painting, food and pictures with cartoon characters.
