Prek2 students enjoy holiday visit

LAPLACE — The prek2 class at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School recently trekked to the SJA convent, where Sister Pier Carla Barone, FDP, and Connie Thorn live.

Sister “PC” and Thorn visit the students in their classrooms regularly, so they invited the students to see the Christmas decorations that adorn their home.
In the Chapel, the Nativity scene was displayed.
The little ones also explored the other decorations in the home, especially the singing and dancing Santa.
Sister PC and Thorn gave each child a bag with an ornament of the Nativity scene and candy canes to take home.
