- The fifth and sixth grade students at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School led the student body and members of the SJA community in the Living Rosary. Each student walked into his/her place holding a symbol representing each prayer of the Rosary as it was recited. The theme is to be merciful and to be peacemakers, based on Matthew 5:7,9; therefore, the symbols were doves and hearts. This year’s special intention was world peace, so each decade represented one of the regions of the world. Some of the participants were, from left, Brittany Marshall, Reyondalin Smith, Nathan Abadie, Morgan Hibbard and Aysia Johnson.
