Students from the area competed in the St. John Industrial Group art contest this year. Two sixth grade students at St. Joan of Arc placed in their grade level. Faith Reid, left, placed second with her swamp scene, and Brittany Marshall received honorable mention for her tribute to Mardi Gras.
