LAPLACE — Local author Cornell Landry recently visited the prekindergarten through second grade classes at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School.

He read some of the books he has written and explained the significance of certain iconic sites and images in his books and why he chose them.

He also shared why he wrote each book and his inspiration for them.

Landry personalized and autographed books for those students who ordered them. Questions from the students and faculty were also answered.
