Highsteppers put on Trunk or Treat

- The Hollywood Highsteppers said they had a record turnout for Thursday's Trunk or Treat.
LAPLACE — The Hollywood Highsteppers held their third annual Trunk or Treat event Thursday night in LaPlace.
Hollywood Highsteppers are a dance team and organizations, according to Chandra Joseph.
“We had well over 100 people come out,” Joseph said. “It was larger this year. We probably had around 60 to 70 people last year. This year’s was a good event we’re still talking about it.”
The Truck or Treating was put on by parents of the dancers.
“It was a great turn out and we are looking for a larger one next year.” Joseph said.
