R. J. Vial Elementary School’s Kathy Parenti is a finalist for the 2015 LATM Outstanding Elementary School Mathematics Teacher. Parenti is a fifth grade teacher and has been teaching for 23 years. With this honor, Parenti will receive numerous prizes and attend the LATM Awards Recognition Ceremony Nov. 10 in Baton Rouge.
