Destrehan 48 — Hahnville 23

The Destrehan Wildcats (4-0) were victorious against intra-parish rivals, the Hahnville Tigers (2-2), scoring 35 points in the first half of the highly anticipated game.

Wildcat quarterback Kohen Granier had an almost impeccable first half, passing 223 yards for four touchdowns.

While the Tigers kept coming back at their adversaries, the score was never closer than eight points.

Hahnville quarterback Mike Neal passed for 195 yards, scored two touchdowns and had an interception. Anthony Williams made it to the end zone twice, once with a 48-yard rushing touchdown.

Lutcher 68 — McMain 20

The Lutcher Bulldogs thrashed the Eleanor McMain Mustangs 68-20 Friday night in their first home district game of the season.

The Bulldogs scored three touchdowns in the first six minutes. The Mustangs tried to force a comeback by scoring once before Lutcher made their fourth and fifth touchdowns in the last two minutes of the first quarter.

McMain attempted to catch up by scoring twice more before games’ end but couldn’t defend the end zone from the Bulldogs’ final four touchdowns.

St. James 32 — J. S. Clark 6

The St. James Wildcats defeated the J.S. Clark Bulldogs 32-6 in a home game Friday night.
