William Patrick Jones I, born Dec. 4, 1946, died July 30, 2015.

The longtime LaPlace resident is survived by son William Patrick Jones II; step-daughter Jessica Franke-Marionneaux (John) and step–son Jeffery Franke.

He is also survived by his grandchildren: Cayden Jones, Jade Franke and Skye Franke and sister Linda Esteve (John).

A memorial service will be held at the Jones’ residence on Saturday, Aug. 8 at 2 p.m. The house is located at 1809 Ridgefield Dr. in LaPlace.
