LAPLACE — River Parishes residents will have the opportunity next week to speak locally with representatives from U.S. Sen. David Vitter’s office.
According to the senator’s office, Vitter and his staff use satellite offices in addition to town hall meetings to provide a venue to assist constituents with problems they may face with federal agencies.
Constituents who are unable to attend the office hours are welcome to call the Metairie regional office at 504-589-2753 to speak to a member of Vitter’s staff.
Satellite office hours will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Monday at the St. John the Baptist Parish Central Library, 2920 U.S. 51 in LaPlace.
Satellite office hours will also be held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday at St. Charles Parish East Regional Library, 160 W. Campus Drive in Destrehan.
Vitter will be represented by his staff and will not personally be in attendance, organizers said.
