Champagne/Byrd engagement

Allyson Elizabeth Champagne and Timothy Glen Byrd, of Slidell and LaPlace, respectively, will marry in an evening ceremony Dec. 27, 2014, at St. Charles Presbyterian Church in New Orleans.

The ceremony will be followed by a reception at The Lafayette Ballroom at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Charles Champagne III of Slidell.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Allen Charles Champagne, Junior, of Slidell and Ms. Joyce Ira Dusang of New Orleans.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Northshore High School, 2007, received her Bachelors from Louisiana State University, 2011, and her Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, 2014.

She is an Associate Attorney with Stockwell Sievert Viccellio Clements & Shaddock.

Her fiance’ is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Glen Byrd Sr. of LaPlace.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ernest Torres, Mrs. Virginia Payne Byrd and the late Mr. Ronnie Earl Byrd of New Orleans.

He is a graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School, 2006, received his Bachelors in Finance from Louisiana Tech University, 2010, his Masters of Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University, 2011, and his Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, 2014.

He is a Judicial Law Clerk in the Fourteenth Judicial District Court.
