The St. James Parish School District, which offers a portfolio of academic and career preparation courses as part of its Career and Technology Center, is set to benefit from a recent law change that will offer TOPS Tech funding to help high school students obtain technical career credentials. St. James Parish offers programs in five areas, including construction, medical, cosmetology (pictured), welding and culinary arts.
