Mixon began her career with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office in 2005 as a communications specialist. Throughout her years in communications, Mixon held the positions of a certified training officer, shift supervisor, shift manager and quality assurance manager. As deputy director, Mixon will oversee the daily operations of the 911 Center. Mixon lives with her husband Shawn and five children.
