Catholic Community Radio of New Orleans (AM 690) and Baton Rouge (AM 1380) held a Family Night fundraiser at New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood in LaPlace  Oct. 27.

The restaurant donated 10 percent of sales to the station.

The station also handed out programming schedules, lapel buttons and other information to the night’s patrons.

Approximately 115 patrons ordered over $1,800 worth of food.

General Manager Jonathan Rodriguez said the event was very successful.

Patrons were also treated to live music provided by Fedele Heine and Julius Laurent, who played traditional New Orleans music, classical selections, Irish jigs and Ragtime songs.
