ST. ROSE — St. Rose Elementary qualified students in PE classes to participate in the Sectional NFL Punt, Pass & Kick competition, and five students placed at the event held Oct. 18 at Academy of Our Lady School.

The Sectional competition is between first place winners from other schools and playgrounds in the metro area.

All of the top three finishers received medals, and first place winners may get selected to compete in the Team NFL Punt, Pass & Kick competition in the Superdome before a Saints game this year.

First place winners included Jai Eugene in the 8-9 year old boy’s division, Nevaeh Thompson in the 10-ll year old girl’s division, Robyn Thomas in the 8-9 year old girl’s division and Davonne Wells in the 10-11 year old boy’s division.

Oliver Augillard placed third in the 12-13 year old boy’s division.
