LAPLACE — The 41st Annual Andouille Festival Poster was unveiled Oct. 4 at the St. John Andouille Pageant.

The hand-painted print was created by Edgard native and artist Jamar Pierre to reflect the cultural importance of the festival, including famous Andouille dishes and expressions of nostalgic festival history.

Posters will be available for purchase the weekend of the festival at the Smokehouse General Store. The Festival will be held Oct. 17-19 at the Highway 51 Park in LaPlace.
