Sally Montz, 76, died on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013.
She was the beloved mother of Maria Guidry (Cruzita), Jane Guidry (Paul), John Galen Guidry (Donya) and the late Brian (Kip) Guidry. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Harry and Leola Ress Montz and sister of Joe Montz, Nancy Guillot, Jeanie Prima and Theresa McCarthy.
She was a volunteer at River Parishes Hospital and the Adult Literacy Program and retired from the St. John School Board.
She was a native and resident of Reserve.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial services. Visitation will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by Mass. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
