On Friday the public is invited to attend the 15th annual Get High on Life Memorial Day Breakfast at 8 a.m., at the KC Home located at 346 Fir St. in LaPlace.
The event will pay tribute to the men and women who served the country and defended the many freedoms that its citizens enjoy. Special emphasis will be placed on remembering those who gave their lives while fighting to keep the country free.
All members of the VFW, the American Legion and the public are invited to attend with their families.
