Ascension of Our Lord Catholic School recently held the Crusader Country Hoedown Raffle Ticket Fundraiser. Kindergartener Briley Bernard (left) came in second place. She raised $560 dollars and was awarded an iPad Mini. Top seller was kindergartener Jordan Strickland. Strickland raised $600 and was awarded a Wii U. A first grade class won a pizza party for having the most class participation with 83.3 percent participation. All participants in the fundraiser who sold a minimum of 30 tickets received free entry to the Crusader Country Hoedown which included fun activities such as games, pony rides, a mechanical bull, a horseshoe tournament and much more.
