Recently, State Rep. Clay Schexnayder spoke with all Garyville Elementary second-graders about Louisiana. He discussed the roles of government officials and how bills become law. Each student was presented a Louisiana State Legislature informational activity book to enhance the social studies lessons. He promised to return in the future and see how much the students learned from the book.
