The winner of this year’s blood drive competition is Hahnville High School, with a total of 85 donors, which topped Destrehan High School, with a total of 61 donors. When the blood bank combines these numbers, they collected a total of 146 units of blood, which can create up to 438 blood components and can help save that many lives as well. HHS had the most donors and will be awarded $500. The runner-up school will receive $250.
