Amy Cancienne Troxler, 90, passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2012.
She was the beloved wife of the late Kittridge Troxler, mother of Ann Troxler, Stephen Troxler (Xinia), Nancy Day (Billy), Amy Kittridge Troxler, Janet Kahoe (A.J.) and Beth, Lucy and Paul Troxler, grandmother of Gregg Lahners, Michael and Marcus Day, Heath Hotard, Kurt Sanderson, Claire Esteve, Ingrid Troxler and Bridget Giglione and seven great-grandchildren, daughter of the late George and Ida Adolph Cancienne and sister of Rosalie Terrio, Odette (Susie) Wilson, George Cancienne and the late Donald, Robert and Adele Cancienne.
She was a native of Napoleonville and a resident of Reserve and Baton Rouge.
Visitation and services were held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012. Burial in followed St. Peter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph Carpenter House, 10615 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70809, are preferred. Arrangements were by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.
