Service arrangements for Deputy Brandon Nielsen, who was killed in the line of duty Aug. 16, 2012, are as follows: visitation will be held Tuesday, Aug. 21, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lakelawn Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., Metairie, and continue Wednesday, Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Lakelawn Funeral Home. A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Following Mass there will be a salute at the Officers Memorial. Burial will follow the salute at Lakelawn Cemetery.
