The Harry Hurst Junior Beta Club inducted its 2011-12 members recently during a candlelight ceremony. Nineteen seventh-graders were inducted into the club by the sponsors, officers and Principal Steven Guitterrez. Seventh-grade members from the club’s feeder club, Norco Elementary 4-6 and current eighth-grade members who retained their 3.0 academic GPA, exhibited model behavior and provided at least 20-hours of service throughout all of last year and the first semester of the current year were also honored.

The Junior Beta Club continues to offer its services to New Sarpy Kindergarten students and are busily preparing for state competitions to be held in Lafayette in May.
