Lessie Wheeler, 63, passed away at her home Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She was the beloved wife of 29 years of Phillip K. Wheeler, the mother of Tammy Buckwalter (John Jr.), daughter of the late A.P. Gibson and Lessie Gibson, sister of Phillis Gibson Iverson, Layton F. Ladd and the late Jelks C. Ladd, the grandmother of Michael and Brandon Boudreaux and Aaron Buckwalter, and the great-grandmother of Destiny, Kylie and Ryelie.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco.
