The third annual Great Pumpkin Patch is officially opened at the St. James Parish Welcome Center in part with the Lions Club of Lutcher and Gramercy. Several activities and events are scheduled throughout the month of October, such as hayrides, a petting zoo, 5K run, a haunted house and more.

The cost is $6 per child to walk through the nature trail, pick a pumpkin, enjoy a hayride and learn about the history of St. James Parish. The Pumpkin Patch is open to the public Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Visitors of all ages are welcome to attend. All proceeds received will go to benefit local charities.
