LAPLACE – The suspect in the slaying of 15-year-old Taylor Adams of LaPlace has been apprehended.

Earnest Joseph III was captured in Gulfport, Miss. His arrest was reported just after 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Services for Adams have been set. Visitation will be at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy., LaPlace, on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m., followed by a religious service at the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. John Memorial Gardens in LaPlace.

Also friends of Adams have set up a Facebook page called “Rest in Peace Taylor Adams” where members of the community can pay their respects.
