George B. Raiford Jr., age 51, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 at the St. Charles Parish Hospital, in Luling. He was an Automotive Technician for Quick Stop Car Wash in Luling and was a lifelong resident of Norco.

He is survived by five brothers: Michael G. Raiford (wife Sherry) of Austin, Texas, Timothy J. Raiford (wife Jeanne) of St. Amant, Rock Raiford (wife Karen) of Austin, Texas, Jeffrey D. Raiford (wife Becky) of Luling, and Matthew P. Raiford (wife Sherry) of Baton Rouge, sister-in-law, Ann Raiford of Norco, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George B. Raiford Sr. and Ivale Champagne; and one brother, Patrick W. Raiford.

Visitation was held on Friday, Nov. 19, 2010 from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Funeral services were held at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Terry Becnel officiating. Burial followED in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan.
