David Charles Gaudet, age 57, died Oct. 25, 2010.
Private graveside services at St. John Catholic Church Cemetery in Thibodaux were held for the resident of Destrehan and native of Thibodaux.
Gaudet is survived by brother Michael J. “Mickey” Gaudet Sr. (Mary Katherine), sisters Carolyn G. Bergeron (Elmo) and Alice G. Pagan (Robert), nephews Michael Gaudet Jr. (Tanya), Christopher Gaudet (Jamie) and Jason Gaudet, niece Ann Michele Logan (James) and great-niece Elise Katherine Gaudet.
He was preceded in death by parents Roland W. “Red” Gaudet Sr. and Marie Trosclair Gaudet, brother Roland W. Gaudet Jr. and great-niece Amelia Ann Gaudet.
Gaudet was an honor graduate of both Edward Douglas White Catholic School and Nicholls State University. He was a hydrocarbon yield analyst with Shell Norco/Motiva, where he was employed for 31 years. Previously, he worked for the Lafourche Parish Assessor’s Office and radio station KTIB in Thibodaux. He enjoyed Louisiana festivals, music and traveling.
