The Gold Buying Store, a 5-year-old Metairie business that buys gold, silver, silverware, coins, flatware, and other items from customers, recently expanded its operations into the LaPlace/St. John the Baptist Parish market. The new store is located at 1005 West Airline Highway in LaPlace and is managed by Juan Garcia. The parish recently held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the store’s grand opening.
