In the Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 edition, L’Observateur published the obituary for January Scott-Wilkens. The notice was received through the paper’s online submission option. It has come to our attention the submission was intended as some sort of prank. Ms. Scott-Wilkens is alive and well. L’Observateur truly regrets the error and extends heartfelt apologies to Ms. Scott-Wilkens as well as her friends and family.
