Participants from a National Conference in New Orleans visit Hurst Middle School to learn about service-learning

Hurst students presented information on the values of service-learning to teachers visiting from around the U.S. and Canada as part of the Achieving Racial Equity and Excellence in Education Conference that was held in New Orleans. Teachers were highlighting service-learning as a successful equitable strategy.
