VACHERIE-Wilfred Joseph Sr., 73, of Vacherie on Sunday Aprill 22, 2007. He was the husband of the late Mable Joseph and son of the late Gilbert and Almonia Joseph Sr.

He is survived by his children Melba Joseph of Westwego, Sheryl Thomas, Wilfred Jr., Arlene and Ronald Joseph of Vacherie and Antonio Joseph of Paulina.

He was the brother of Gilbert Joseph of San Francisco, California, the late Emily James, Geraldine Joseph, Jerry Joseph and Clarence Joseph.

Also survived by one aunt Emily Williams and by 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Services were held Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 11 a.m. from First Baptist Church in Vacherie.

Webre

VACHERIE- Anne Dufrense Webre, 90, of Vacherie on Sunday April 22, 2007.

She is survived by her children, Martin Aloysius Webre, Rodney Gerard Webre, Peter Jospeh Webre, Dennis John Webre, Joan and Catherine Rooney.

Also survived by grandchildren, Jude Patrick Webre, Tammy Stogner, Brandy Hatcher, Aaron M. Rooney, Sean P. Rooney, Matthew J. Rooney and Catherine Rooney and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Damase H. Webre, parents, Joseph Dufrense Sr. and Genevieve Waguespack Dufrense, siblings Ferdinand Dufrense and Joseph Dufrense Sr.; granddaughter Megan Catherine Rooney and daughter Regina Anne Marie Webre.

Services were held Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 10 a.m. from St. Philip Catholic Church in Vacherie.
