Two arrested in St. James rape

CONVENT-Two subjects have been arrested in St. James Parish for their alleged involvement in a rape and kidnapping.
According to a press release issued by St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office, on the night of Nov. 2, at approximately 1:57 a.m., police received a call advising that a female had been raped.
“The woman was leaving her place of employment to go home when two white males approached her in the parking lot to ask for directions,” said Sid Berthelot, spokesperson for St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office.
“The suspects then proceeded to follow her in separate vehicle when she stopped her car to point out the direction of the highway, where they abducted her from her own vehicle and placed her in the suspect vehicle,” Berthelot said.
“The woman who was knocked unconscious during the abduction immediately called police after realizing what happened and promptly sought medical attention,” he said.
Investigation of the incident, led to the arrest of two suspects, Adam Folse, 22, of 3540 Williams Blvd. in Vacherie and Howard Kraemer, 28, of 2082 Hwy. 20 Thibodaux P.D.
Kraemer was booked with principle to forcible rape and principle to second degree kidnapping.
Folse was booked with forcible rape and second degree kidnappong.
Bond was set at $ 37,500 each by Judge Pegram Mire, Jr.
Folse posted bond and was released pending court proceedings and Kraemer is still in custody at St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office Jail
