GRAMERCY-George Lawrence “Bugo” Chachere Sr., 67, of Lutcher, on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 in Colmesneil, Texas,
He was the son of the late George Chachere and Iris Chachere and father of George, Jr and wife Sherill, Maria Chachere, Phillip and Wife Angie Chachere and Tara Chachere Hardin and husband James.
Also survived by sister Joann Bennet and Husband Sid, and grandchildren Christopher, Brittany, Luke and Jessica.
He is preceded in death by three sisters
Services were held Monday, October, 30 2006 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy.
Dawson
BATON ROUGE-James Curtis Dawson, 20 of St. Amant, and a native of LaPlace, on Oct. 30 2006 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge. He is a graduate of St. Amant High school where he lettered in tennis, and a student at Southeastern University. He was an outstanding young man who was loved by many and will be sorely missed.
He was the son of Curtis Craig and Gail Bertrand Dawson Jr., and sister Jaclyn Dawson.
He is survived by paternal grandparents Barbara McNabb Dawson of Baton Rouge and Curtis and Carol Dawson Sr. of Baton Rouge. Maternal grandparents are Carl and Bonnie Bertrand of LaPlace.
He is also survived paternal great-grandmother Bea K. Dawson of Baton Rouge and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend Lauren Root.
Services and were held at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, followed by cremation.
LeBoeuf
LAPLACE-Willie J. LeBoeuf Jr., 84, of Garyville, on Oct. 28, 2006.
He was the beloved husband of Nelwyn Oubre LeBoeuf and father of Larry Willie III (Sonny) and Todd LeBoeuf.
He is survived also by sibling Gloria Borne, Clare Belle Foser and Willa Mae Wilson, 2 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was a WWII veteran and member of Americon Legion Post 159 and St. Hubert Catholic Church
He is preceded in death by son Darol LeBoeuf and brother Felix and Lawrence “Pete” LeBoeuf.
Services were held Thursday Nov. 2, 2006 at St. Hubert Catholic Church in Garyville and burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Poche
GRAMERCY-Raymond John Poche Sr., 70, of Gramercy and native of Paulina on Saturday Oct. 28, 2006.
He was the husband of Irene Lousteau Poche and son of the late Paulin and Ophelia Poche. He was the father of Raymond Poche, Jr. and wife Ginger and Shannon I. Poche.
Also survived by grandchildren Phillip, Sydney and Ruston Poche and brothers Glynn Poche, P. Donald Poche (Priscilla), Dr. Carl Poche (Myrhh), Shirley Poche, Rosa Mae Ricardson (Murphy) and was brother-in-law of Tracy Poche.
He is preceded in death by brothers Patrick and Paul Poche.
Poche retired from Dupont after 34 years in 1998.
Williams
DALLAS-Terry Lynn Williams Arthurton, 47, a resident of McKinney, TX and native of Luling, on October 24, 2006 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
She was the daughter of Cleveland Williams and the late Beatrice S. Williams and beloved wife of Euday O’Neill Arthurton Sr., and mother of Kieon Williams of Riverside, CA, Arian Pierre, Rashade and Euday Arthurton, all of McKinney, TX.
She was sister to Cleveland Williams, Jr. ( Alcenia), Darryl Williams, Gregory Williams Jr., (Diana), Renee Williams (David) Rosanne Willians, Trashon Smith (Derrick) andCleveland Williams III
Also survived by two aunts. Gloria Blakes and Judy Mathis, one grandchild, Christian Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, relative and friends.
Services will be held at Philadelphia Baptist Church, 217 Smith Street in Hahnville on Saturday Nov. 4, 2006 at 11 a.m.
