LAPLACE — A lottery ticket matching five of the six numbers needed to win the multi-million dollar Powerball jackpot drawing Saturday night was purchased at a LaPlace gas station, according to a representative with the Louisiana Lotto Co.

The Shell Station located at 4309 Main St. sold the winning ticket last week that is worth $200,000. The person holding the winning ticket had not yet claimed their prize as of press time.
