Lutcher falls to Dutchtown, Parkview

The Lady Bulldogs dropped two outings this week that were closer than the final scores might appear.
On Wednesday, LHS fell to Dutchtown in three of four games, taking the third game with a 20-25 win but dropping the first two 25-19 and 27-25 while the last fourth ended 26-24. There, Katie Duhe posted 11 kills, 10 digs and four aces while Megan Waguespack got 11 kills and four blocks. Michelle Duhe kept the offense rolling with 22 assists.
For Monday’s action, Lutcher was again on the road, this time facing Parkview Baptist where the Lady Bulldogs suffered a 28-26 loss in the opening game and tied things up with a 23-25 win of their own. But Parkview finished up with wins of 25-21 and 25-20. Here, Duhe was credited with 15 digs and 13 kills while Morgan Waguespack scored nine kills and Michelle Duhe ended with 29 assists and six aces.
The Lady Bulldogs stand at 1-3 in district play.
