WEST ST. JOHN RAMS

After opening the season with a four-game losing streak, West St. John reversed field to climb back to .500 with a four-game winning streak as soon as their district match-ups started. That left them atop the district for Thursday’s game against Ascension Catholic, in which the district title was on the line in Donaldsonville. There, the Rams secured the first seed for the playoffs in district 9-1A with a victory. West St. John will then be keeping a close eye on the rest of the 1A games this weekend, which will determine who they play in the first round of the playoffs next weekend.
