Tigers top Ehret, 52-14

HARVEY — Hahnville boomed up a hefty 52-14 win over John Ehret on Friday, even with a scoreless fourth quarter.
Terrance Isaac scored first on a two-yard run in the first quarter, backed by a Robbie Broach PAT kick for the 8-0 lead.
A 28-yard field goal by Broach edged Hahnville to 11-0, followed by Isaac’s 58-yard scoring run, with Broach’s PAT making it 17-0 after one quarter of play.
In the second, it was Bryan Singleton’s turn at the end zone, lobbing to Laron Byrd for the 52-yard pass reception. The PAT was good for the 24-0.
Early James passed 29 yards to Isaac for the next score and the PAT was good for the 31-0 lead.
James then connected with Garon Stipe on a 29-yard pass, and the PAT was good for the 38-0 lead.
Ehret finally found the scoreboard at this point, and Chris Mitchell connected with Gary Francis on the 28-yard pass reception. The PAT was good for the 38-7 lead.
Jones passed three yards to Singleton for the next Hahnville score, and the PAT made it 45-7.
In the third quarter, it was James to Singleton again, this for 17 yards, and the good PAT made it 52-7 for the Tigers.
Finally, Ehret’s Craig Harper scored on a 17-yard run, and the good PAT made the total 52-14.
Hahnville is now 6-1 on the season, 2-1 in district play.
